Booking Terms and Conditions

By booking your holiday at Old Chapel House you agree to the following terms and conditions, failure to adhere to these terms could result in cancelation of your stay and you will be asked to leave.

Payment

A non refundable deposit of £200 is payable when booking. Your stay will not be confirmed until this payment is made (please do bear in mind that we are live on several platforms and bookings can be made at anytime)

We will send you a confirmation by email, upon receipt of the deposit. The balance of the cost of the holiday is due 4 weeks before you arrive. If your stay is within 4 weeks of your booking you will be required to pay the full amount of your stay.

We insist on a £300 bond payment this is an insurance to us, however this is a pre-authorisation only, no monies will be taken unless damage or left occurs. The pre-authorisation is taken upon arrival in the salon next door and must be those of the primary contact. All details will be destroyed after your stay.

Cancellation and insurance

Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement with you is a legal contract. If you cannot go on holiday for whatever reason you are liable to pay for the booking in full if less than 4 weeks notice has been given. The initial deposit is non refundable for any reason.  For these reasons we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance for your holiday.  There is an option to take x-cover protection (insurance) that can be added to your booking for piece of mind, this is recommended.

Non availability of chapel as booked

We would only cancel your holiday if the Chapel was unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was either not possible or not acceptable to you then we would refund to you all monies paid for the holiday. Our liability to you would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival

Old Chapel House will be ready for you from 3pm on the day of your arrival. Please arrive as close to this time as possible, we understand that traffic can be unpredictable at best, we want to meet with you on arrival but if this is not achievable (due to delay) instructions will be given of how to gain entry.

Parking

We have private off-road parking for a maximum of 4 vehicles (depending on size)  There is also a free council car park just opposite Old Chapel House (just slightly passed on the left) we ask you to park any extra vehicles in the car park and that you use the street parking for loading/unloading only as this is a residential area, and parking is limited.

Departure

We require that you vacate the Chapel by 10am on the morning of your departure. To assist preparation for the next visitors, we ask that you leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, following the departure guidelines in the welcome book. Failure to do so may mean additional costs which will be taken from the the preauthorisation.

Liability

We do not accept responsibility for injury to persons or loss/damage to possessions unless caused by proven negligent act or omission of ourselves, our employees or contractors, or agents of the same, whilst acting in the course of their employment. This includes loss or damage to vehicles and their contents, and to the personal possessions you bring with you.

Damages and breakages

You are responsible for any breakages or damage you cause to the Chapel and its contents, Please report these before you leave.

Noise pollution

We want you to enjoy your holiday but please be aware that Old Chapel House is in a residential area, with neighbours all around. We ask that you respect this at all times, outside patio area should be vacated no later than midnight at weekends and 10pm during the week.

Guests

Old Chapel House is insured and accommodates 8 people, anymore than this an you will breech the contract making it null and void and you may be asked to leave. We understand that if you are visiting family you may wish to have more people come to visit, we would like to be informed of this at time of booking.

We have to stress that Old Chapel House is not a venue for parties for more than 8 people, we are a holiday let. We welcome celebrations for any occasion (we would also help in any way we could) but this must be within the group of 8.
